AI assistants

Your food diary,
inside your assistant.

Connect eatnibble to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Cursor. Tell it what you ate and it estimates each item's portion, calories, protein, carbs and fat, then saves the meal to your eatnibble diary. Ask about your day, and it knows.

What it can do

Log it, fix it, ask about it.

“Log a chicken wrap and a Coke Zero for lunch”

Log a meal

Adds one meal with its items and estimated calories and macros. It shows up in the app marked for your review until you confirm or edit it.

log_meal

“That omelette was 3 eggs, not 2”

Fix or remove a meal

Corrects or removes a meal from the last 7 days — only when you ask. A corrected meal waits for your review in the app, and the assistant is asked to check with you before removing one.

update_meal · delete_meal

“What have I eaten today?”

Today's summary

Today's meals and the calories and macros eaten so far.

get_today_summary

“Show my meals from the last 3 days”

Recent meals

Meals and daily totals for up to the last 7 days.

get_recent_meals

Your daily goal isn't shared, so ask with your own target in mind — e.g. “How much protein do I still need to reach 120 g?”

Setup

Connect in about a minute.

You need the eatnibble iPhone app, signed in with Apple, and an assistant that supports MCP connectors.

Server address https://eatnibble-backend.vercel.app/mcp

Connect in ChatGPT

  1. Open Settings → Apps.
  2. Find eatnibble in the directory and select Connect. Until it's listed, turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings and create an app with the server address above.
  3. Sign in when ChatGPT asks to connect eatnibble.
  4. A page opens with a 6-digit code: approve it on your iPhone (below).

Developer mode is available on ChatGPT's paid plans.

Connect in Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Find eatnibble in the directory, or choose Add custom connector and paste the server address above.
  3. Select Connect next to eatnibble.
  4. A page opens with a 6-digit code: approve it on your iPhone (below).

Works on Claude on the web, desktop and mobile.

Connect in Gemini

  1. In the Gemini app, open Settings → Connected apps.
  2. Add a custom app and paste the server address above.
  3. Select Connect to eatnibble.
  4. A page opens with a 6-digit code: approve it on your iPhone (below).

Custom apps aren't available on every Gemini plan yet. If you don't see the option, it hasn't reached your account.

Connect in Grok

  1. On grok.com, open Connectors.
  2. Choose New Connector → Custom and paste the server address above.
  3. Select Connect to eatnibble.
  4. A page opens with a 6-digit code: approve it on your iPhone (below).

Custom connectors need a paid Grok plan.

Connect in Cursor

  1. Open Settings → MCP.
  2. Add a new MCP server named eatnibble with the server address above as its URL.
  3. Select Connect or Login next to eatnibble.
  4. A page opens with a 6-digit code: approve it on your iPhone (below).

Cursor opens the connection page in your browser.

Last step

Approve the connection on your iPhone.

In the eatnibble app, go to Settings → AI Connections → Connect an Assistant and enter the 6-digit code.

The app shows which assistant is asking and what it will be able to do. Tap Connect, and the browser page returns you to your assistant. The code expires after 10 minutes.

Your data

Your food log stays on your iPhone. While an assistant is connected, the app shares a short summary of the last 7 days of meals (name, time and totals) so the assistant can answer questions, and meals the assistant logs or corrects wait on our server only until the app picks them up. Meal photos, your profile, your daily goal and any Apple Health data are never shared. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Disconnect

In the app, go to Settings → AI Connections, swipe the assistant (or open it) and choose Disconnect. When the last assistant is removed, the summary on our server is deleted. Deleting your account removes everything.
