Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the eatnibble app. By downloading, opening or using eatnibble, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
What eatnibble is
eatnibble is a calorie and macro tracker. You take or pick a photo, or type a description of what you ate; the app sends it to our backend for analysis and gives you an estimate of the calories, protein, carbs and fat, which you can adjust by portion and save to a log kept on your device. You can also enter meals manually, track water and review your history and averages.
Estimates, not advice
eatnibble does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary or health advice, and using it does not create any professional relationship. The nutrition figures it shows are automated estimates produced by an AI model from a photo or a short text description. They are approximate by nature and can be wrong — portion sizes, hidden ingredients, cooking methods and brand differences all affect the real values.
Use the numbers as a rough guide only. Don't rely on them for decisions where accuracy matters — for example dosing insulin, managing an allergy or a medical condition, or any clinical purpose. Consult a qualified professional for dietary or medical guidance, and seek immediate help for a medical emergency.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use eatnibble. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Your account
You can analyze your first few meals on a device without an account. After that, eatnibble asks you to sign in with Apple so your daily analysis limit follows your account rather than the device. Sign in with Apple is the only method. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple ID secure. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account; see the Privacy Policy for what that removes.
Acceptable use
Use eatnibble only for its intended purpose — tracking your own meals. Don't: submit content you have no right to submit; upload unlawful, abusive or infringing material; attempt to break, overload, probe or circumvent the app or backend, its rate limits or its sign-in; use automated means to access the service; or resell, redistribute or build a competing product from it. We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms or that puts the service or other users at risk.
Analysis limits and pricing
Each account has a per-day limit on how many analyses it can run, which we may change at any time to keep the service running. eatnibble is currently free to use and has no paid plans. If we introduce paid features in the future, the terms for those will be presented before you buy anything.
Intellectual property
The eatnibble app, its name, logo, design and content are owned by us and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. Meal photos and descriptions you provide remain yours; you grant us permission to process them as needed to run the analysis and return your result, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
eatnibble relies on services we don't control, including Google's Gemini API for analysis, Apple for Sign in with Apple and app distribution, and Vercel for backend hosting. If you connect an AI assistant (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or Cursor), that assistant is provided by its own company under its own terms. Their terms govern their parts of the service, and we're not responsible for their availability or actions — including the accuracy of meals or nutrition estimates an assistant logs for you.
The service is provided "as is"
eatnibble is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We don't warrant that the nutrition estimates are correct or that the app will always be available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the app's estimates or from any interruption or discontinuation of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these terms. When the terms change we'll update this page and the date above. Continuing to use eatnibble after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may also stop offering the app or parts of it at any time.
